This particular event was abuzz with notable sales of coveted items belonging to two rising basketball stars, Anthony Edwards and Victor Wembanyama, setting new benchmarks and breaking records in the process.

One of the standout pieces that sent collectors into a frenzy was an early NBA jersey donned by the dynamic Anthony Edwards during his fourth career game, fetching a jaw-dropping sum of $118,978. This remarkable sale not only marked a record for any public auctioned Edwards jersey but also highlighted the fervor surrounding the young basketball sensation. Authenticated by MeiGray/NBA, this jersey witnessed Edwards showcasing his skills by achieving his first career block and contributing 12 points, further solidifying his presence on the court. Not to be outdone, Victor Wembanyama, the towering basketball prospect, saw a surge in interest surrounding his memorabilia, particularly his rookie cards. A highly sought-after 2023-24 Panini Prizm Green Shimmer First Off The Line rookie card, numbered 1 of 5 and graded PSA 10, stunned the audience by fetching $113,460. Another rarity, a Gold Shimmer rookie card numbered 7/10, was not far behind, closing at an impressive $49,410.

The auction also paid homage to timeless legends and iconic moments in sports history. A 1996-97 Kobe Bryant Topps Chrome Refractor rookie card became a prized possession for a collector who secured it for $92,720, while a 2018 Panini Prizm World Cup Gold Power Prizm Kylian Mbappe rookie card, graded BGS MINT 9, saw a bidding war that ended at $92,190.

Delving further into the eclectic mix of offerings, former Duke star Cherokee Parks’ NCAA Championship ring and other memorabilia were put up for grabs, with the 1994 Championship ring commanding an impressive $44,320. Additionally, photographs capturing pivotal early moments in the legendary careers of basketball icons like Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar became coveted items, fetching $15,982 and $14,640, respectively.

The auction also featured a snapshot from the early MLB days of Fernando Tatis, with a jersey worn during his first career road game selling for $10,098.
