Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has unveiled a groundbreaking new initiative called ‘The Ten’. This program is designed to recognize and reward collectors for uncovering the top 10 sports cards in the market. Inspired by popular lists such as the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted,” ‘The Ten’ showcases a dynamic selection of 10 cards spanning across all sports. Collectors who have the luck to pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will be rewarded with an astonishing $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ will feature a monthly rotation of cards carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Some notable cards on the list include the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card, as well as the yet-to-be-revealed 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list is an exceptional mix of legendary athletes, rising stars, and promising talents. It includes the likes of Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as up-and-coming MLB players Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA sensations Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. This diverse portfolio encompasses cards from renowned brands such as Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, the senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal to enhance the collecting experience. He emphasized their commitment to giving back to collectors and the hobby as a whole. ‘The Ten’ is not just about the cards; it’s about fostering community engagement. Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community have a say in the monthly card selections, making it a collaborative effort.

‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to showcase new products and reignite interest in existing releases by including chase cards. This gives dealers and collectors an opportunity to shine the spotlight on these exceptional cards, creating a buzz and sparking discussion within the community.

Fanatics Live has exciting plans lined up for ‘The Ten’, including pack and box breaks, special shows celebrating major discoveries, and announcements of upcoming cards. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their finders, adding to the storytelling aspect of the program.

Moreover, ‘The Ten’ program may also feature guest appearances from athletes and offer additional prizes, further enriching the collector experience. The focus is not only on the cards themselves but also on the stories behind the collectors and their exceptional finds. This unique storytelling aspect distinguishes ‘The Ten’ from other programs in the industry.

Since its debut, Fanatics Live has been experiencing consistent growth, with an impressive average watch time of 56 minutes. This highlights the platform’s emergence as a community-focused hub for collectors. James Kollar expressed his enthusiasm for the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ on the Fanatics brand and the collector community as a whole.

With ‘The Ten’, Fanatics Live is set to revolutionize the collecting experience by rewarding collectors for their remarkable finds. By creating excitement, fostering engagement, and celebrating the stories behind the cards, Fanatics Live aims to strengthen the bond within the collector community and solidify its position as a leading platform for sports card enthusiasts.
